Sunday October 16th 2005Well, hey, I'm Magnus Agnus the website manager/designer (also referred to as God, Squirrely Cur, Xana-bob and Billy the Bio-Mech Gnome of Exploding Sheep/Puppet Master -- you get the idea). Anyway, how this site came into being was due to my obsession with reading webcomics (go EGS!) and having a friend with 1337 drawing skills. Anyway, after slaving away on a Saturday evening, here it is, in all its glory. BTW, this is Cubanaloca version 1.1, still in the beta. When I have enough time and understaning of 'Keentags', I will upgrade the site into awesomeness (with frames and a links bar and all that cool stuff). Anyway, enough of me talking, enjoy the comic! (PS By the end of the year, Alondra and I will each have a character based on each other, try to guess who it is!)

Magnus Agnus, your loyal techxpert (hehe i like made up words), is here again. Just to let everybody know, I will be working on a.)increasing the image quality of the comics and b.)upgrading the website, when I have free time. Currently, I have a lot of stuff on my plate so it may be awhile. Also, due to Halloween coming up, expect a halloween filler! Yay!

CRITICAL UPDATE: Well, Alondra and I just got the brunt of Hurricane Wilma. I lost power and internet for 5 days and I am still unable to contact Alondra. Therefore, although we have many comics ready to upload, the Halloween filler and possibly Alondra's B-day filler will be pushed back (so that means no update monday). Unfortunately, this also means that the website upgarding will also be pushed back, though the first thing I will try to establish is a working forum, so y'all can give feedback. Sorry for the delay! (P.S. About that 'Guess the character' thingy: 1.) You can probably already guess Alondra's character 2.) My character won't appear for awhile).

Okay, I have power. I'm not sure about Alondra though. She's gonna hate me for doing this, but today I give you a hand-crafted (read: google image search) halloween filler! Complete with Gir in Dog costume from Invader Zim (my brother addicted me over the weekend). Yay. Be lucky I didnt give all of the loyal fans out there a stick figure filler. Don't worry though, Alondra will finish the regular halloween filler and the filler of the filler will be forever forgotten. (Filler for a filler, kinda sad =p)

Anyway, Alondra finally got power (she went crazy, crazier than usual). And we have some updates. Sometime this week, I will be implementing the forum/guestbook. There will be a thread for guestbooking, so please once we get it up, sign it so we won't feel all alone in the world of webcomics (if anyone out there is listening). Also, Alondra has begged me to make some Misc. pages like Cast, Author etc. so I will be trying to upgrade the site in the next couple of weeks, though don't blame me if it doesn't happen. Also, I am also shocked that there will be no halloween filler as well, so I guess Gir is here to stay. I am again shocked at Alondra's attack on my scanning skills. I'd have to say it may have been the greyscaling that wrecked the image quality. So, I'm offering a choice to all our loving fans. Should I a.) Work on fixing the Images or b.) Work on upgrading the website. The choice is yours...

Okay, so I lied. I promised that we would have fillers for Halloween and Alondra's birthday. Alondra's birthday is tommorow and to my knowledge, she hasn't done a filler, so no filler for you! =p Anyway, a big piece of good news, WE HAVE FORUMS! Come sign the guestbook and post your thoughts here. Even if you hate the comic and wish it would burn, you should come wish Alondra a happy birthday or you may face her wrath...

Long time, no update, I guess... No Thanksgiving filler, but HOPEFULLY we may have a X-mas filler (fine, 'holidays' filler for all of the politically correct people). I am still keeping the website upgrade in mind, but it has kinda been put on the back burner for now. Right now, Alondra and I are in the process of revamping the comics, cleaning them up and all that junk. We are debating whether to keep the handwritten font or switch to CG type, but we will let you know the decision on the forums. Expect cleaner comics starting with Chapter 1 in the coming months.

Wednesday December 7th 2005Sorry for leaving you guys hanging with a comic Tuesday, I was sick *cough*. No really. Anyway, expect some fillers for the next week while Alondra finishes touching up Chapter 3, starting with one featuring Bob the Samurai (go figure, Alondra's idea)! So, hopefully we may get to see one holiday comic before the end of this year. The only problem may be me uploading the comic, seeing as I may be gone on vacation. P.S. - I got a new dog, which may be the subject of a filler drawn by yours truly. Warning: Extreme cuteness may be too much for some people, be advised.

Ok, filler time is over. I was hoping that we could have a guest comic week like all the other cool webcomics do, but noooo, all my friends are too lazy =p. Now that I think of it that's kinda unfair, cause i'd be too lazy to upload them probably. Which leads me to my next point... Alondra, I'm not lazy, i'm just... *goes to dictionary.com* disposed to idleness >.> <.<. Anyway, I will be taking the initiative this week when I'm not studying for exams to upload the new comics, work on the website (for which Alondra has created a new awesome idea) and get that holiday filler ready. Yay. Holiday merriment all around.

All of our fans (read: 3 family members) are probably wondering why there was a long delay to the X-mas filler and why there is no update today. The simple answer is that Alondra gave me three comics to last over X-mas break, so basicially we will have comics update every 4 days instead of every other day. Expect the schedule to return to normal around Jan. 8th or so.

Sorry for the lack of updates, both comicwise and commentwise. Alondra and I have been busy at school, and I've had a recent bout with a fever so it hasn't been easy. I was supposed to be updating with fillers, but I think they would have eventually gotten stale. I have an ample amount of free time this weekend so assume there will be 3 fillers lined up before Alondra gets off her... how would I put this... lazy @$$ and makes us some comics. We are also going to be organizing the site differently as I had said so expect a preview is the coming weeks.
